    I did do this around 3 weeks ago and it has resulted in really good growth/a lot more foliage than before but I'm not seeing any fruits! Does this only work for certain varieties?

    Whenever I do cuttings and they start budding, they grow fruits instantly with those buds, so it basically takes no time for it to fruit lol obviously, the cuttings MUST be from an already adult tree that is known to bare fruit.

    They have sheer bags you can tie over the seed heads and then, they drop into the bag when they are ready. I have not done it yet but want too!

    It may be Pokeweed or American Nightshade. Neither ones that you want!! I use "Picture This" for plant identification and love it.

    Very interesting. A FLORIDA COTTAGE GARDEN!!! Did not think it was possible? LOL. Good job! Will watch to see how it goes. I have found that a Woodland Garden is easier. I use wood limbs as borders and then, the bugs and bees use them.

    Have you ever had issues with rabbits? I have my veggie garden back in a fenced yard and something has been chomping on my veggies when they get close to ripening. I noticed a little dug out spot in my fence line too.

    I just read a scientific article that debunked all this. Our climate is changing and we need to help the Monarchs. If you google "tropical milkweed is not harmful to monarchs" the article is the first result. READ IT! I just got my hands on some tropical milkweed seeds! yay!

    California Wonder don’t do well for me either here in Clearwater. Try Charleston Belle, a sweet pepper from Southern Exposure Seed. They are smaller but I’ve had good success with them. I started from seed in the fall, overwintered them this year, and pruned them back in early spring. I covered with shade cloth when the temps hit the 90’s. They are still putting on fruit and rocking it this year!

      Drip irrigation is a go to for me in southeast louisiana. And a timer. It reduced my water bill and it saves me hours and a sore back.

      @@esmysyield2023 That's a great idea, I wish I could set that up but my garden is a bit of a hodge podge of beds, buckets and grow bags. I don't think it would work. It would save me a lot of time that's for sure. Thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate the advice.

    I planted watermelon in a raised bed. They got to be about the sides of baseball and now I’ve noticed the yellow ones have totally split in half. Am I planting them at the wrong time of the year have any suggestions

      Melons and Tomatoes are super susceptible to splitting if there is too much water.
